Eating Disorder Treatment Programs
Our Treatment Program
We take pride in providing high quality, multi-disciplinary, medically-supervised eating disorder treatments with several Levels of Care. Our treatment programs have four basic components: medical, nutritional, psychological and recreational.
The programs of the Nova Luna Center are formulated on these core principles:
• Interdisciplinary approach under clinical supervision.
• Involvement of friends and family.
• Incremental lifestyle change.
In addition to cognitive behavioral therapies, Nova Luna Center programs utilize
Jungian, psychodynamic and experiential approaches in the recovery process, to explore and uncover the personal and universal myths, metaphors, and archetypal material that drives the eating disorder.
The Nova Luna process helps women and girls uncover and discover their true selves, learning new tools and experientially practicing using and incorporating those tools into their everyday lives.
Each of our programs provide treatment for individuals struggling with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and related issues. Supervised meals, group therapy, nutrition education, and body image session are a few of the program components that address the complex psychological issues, while treating physical and dietary needs.
